So, who am I?
I didn’t arrive at my convictions through comfort, convenience, or theory. I arrived at them through responsibility...taken on early, carried for decades, and refined under pressure.
You see, I am the mother of six children, including a set of triplets, who overcame a childhood of family instability, faced the weight of societal judgment (single parent/6 kids) with quite frankly the odds being against me.
I raised my family largely on my own, without the safety net of extended family support and with very limited financial resources. There were seasons when survival required me to choose provision over my preference taking on whatever work was available, to provide for my children.
I worked many vocations. I made difficult choices. I endured judgment and quiet discrimination for having a large family in a culture that increasingly views children as burdens rather than blessings.
I learned what it meant to be misunderstood, to be stretched thin, and to carry the weight of decisions that would shape not just my life...but the lives of six others.
Thankfully, my journey eventually led me to the Lord, and through Him, I discovered something very beautiful: the path forward was already in my hands...it's in all of our hands.
My passion now is helping people recognize that homesteading is more than a lifestyle choice...it’s a return to God’s original blueprint for how we’re meant to live, serve, and build.

Family As The Foundation.
As I raised my children, I became deeply aware that the family unit is where everything else begins...the bedrock of society.
When families are strong, children learn identity, purpose, and responsibility. When families are supported, communities become resilient.
And when communities are rooted in care, stewardship, and accountability...nations are strengthened from the inside out.
Little by little, I began to see God had given us a blueprint for a good life. One that begins in the home. One that is built through responsibility, work, care for one another, and gratitude for what is already in our hands.
Why Homesteading Matters.
Over time, I began to see the homesteading/agrarian/self-reliance movement not as a trend, but as a RETURN.
A return to:
Stewardship and production instead of just consumption
Work with our hands instead of constant outsourcing
Responsibility instead of victimhood
Community instead of isolation
Gratitude instead of entitlement
Homesteading, at its heart, is not about land ownership or self-sufficiency for its own sake. It is about reclaiming our role as caretakers—of our homes, our families, our neighbors, and the places God has entrusted to us.
This is one of the most powerful movements I have seen in my lifetime for restoring values that once formed the backbone of American life...faith in God, family, work, responsibility, and hope.
My Why.
I write and speak not because I have an interest in convincing people that life used to be better.
No, I'm interested in reminding them that the good life still exists...and that it begins with what's in their hands now.
I have seen firsthand what happens when people choose stewardship over status quo, personal responsibility over blame, and faith over fear.
I believe today's homestead movement using God's blueprint, will make America strong again.

Today, I write and speak because I believe America's restoration does not begin in institutions. It begins in following God's blueprint.
You do not need land to live this way.
You do not need perfection.
You do not need permission.
You need a willing heart, a conviction of responsibility, and the courage to tend to what has been placed in your care.
